USA vs Canada World Seniors Tournament

What's up AGL?! The World Seniors USA vs Canada tournament resumes tonight and our very own KingLyme Media Team is going to cover the best series in AGL!

Team USA had a hell of a last day by taking the lead in the series last week and the series is currently 5-4. With a series this close it could change hands again, but it could also be an opportunity for USA to extend and have a comfortable lead by the end of the night. Let's take a look at these lineups tonight and see!

As cliche as it is to say, since I say this often, but it's going to be a goalie battle tonight. Who can make those momentum changing saves more? Big4life and Barlow will be battling it out tonight and I think I'll tip my hat off towards Big4life for this one. Both goalies I know well and each one can steal the game, but for this tournament, Big4life is 4th GAA, Save Percentage, and Saves!

I will say though, USA will have a tough task in stopping the trio of Lii5h, Itschartz, and Buckleyx14! Buckleyx14 is 1st in points (10) and 1st in goals (6). Lii5h is 3rd in points and tied for 2nd in assists (5). Itschartz has been quiet this tournament, although it hasn't been due to lack of effort. He's putting plenty of shots on net, but hasn't been burying many goals. Shows how great the goalies are playing.

The key to Canada winning their games tonight will not be stopping their forwards from scoring as much as keeping Sunz and Rangerfan142 uncomfortable and pressure the breakouts. Both have been great on the breakouts this tournament and they have the stats to prove that narrative. Rangerfan142 is tied for 2nd in assists (5) and 2nd in passes completed (73). Canada will need to pressure the defenseman hard so they can keep the puck in their zone more. When they get in the offensive zone, they will have to work hard on not telegraphing where they go with their passing because Rangerfan142 is 2nd in interceptions (29) and Sunz is 3rd (27). Move the puck quick and get them chasing, or pay the price.

All in all, I had a tough time deciding this one. We're in for a real treat tonight and I think these will be great games to watch! I will tip my hat towards USA for this one in a 2-1 night. If Itschartz gets things going tonight though, it could easily be a 2-1 night for Canada. Tough one to judge, but it's gonna be a hell of a battle!
