USA vs Canada Again!

What is up AGL?! We are at it again with Team USA vs Team Canada! This series is proving to be more competitive than Tornonto Maple Leafs in Game 7s! Thats an awful comparison, but I just wanted to bash the Maple Leafs again. Sue me! All jokes aside this series has proven to be the most competitive, but also one of the most fun series to watch in AGL history! It's not over either.

The record is 5-4 with Team USA leading right now and that record could end with them leading tonight still, but it could be Team Canada's lead to have just as much. Lets look at the lineups tonight and let the community decide.

Looking at these lineups for the night I would say Team Canada would be favored, but after the stomping they got last time almost this whole lineup was in, I am hesitant. Big name players for Team Canada just haven't shown up for their team yet. CJx-19 is in last place on the team in points and tied for worst in Plus/Minus. Not a good showing for one of the top players. Maybe I was sleeping on Team USA's defense and goaltending (Sorry Eagle) just a bit. On the other hand, Str8syko has been arguably the best player on Team Canada so far. Tied for most Points (9) and leading the series in Assists (6) maybe playing alongside CJx-19 will get him going. Team Canada's defense was tested and failed pretty badly last time so I expect them to play as if they have something to prove tonight. Bufford has been proving why he is one of the top goalies when he plays goalie because he is 2-1 with the 4th best Save Percentage (.833) and also the 3rd best GAA (2.10) in the series.

Team USA is putting out a very solid lineup tonight against, on paper, a really, really good team. TGil36 (3 goals, 4 assists) and l Poolzy l (2 goals, 4 assists) have been proving that they are a force to be reckoned with so far. gr1zzl031 has been one of best Dmen on the ice when his number is called and will be tested to show up again against some really quick passing, and shifty forwards. CallMeSkull has been one of the better goalies in this series even though he has a losing record right now. He has faced the 2nd most shots and yet is still 3rd in this series with a .845 Save Percentage. He's doing his part, so tonight the rest of his team needs to do theirs.

Is Team USA up for the challenge? Can they stop Team Canada's high-powered offense or will Team Canadas defensemen not show up? Regardless, I think this series will end tonight with series Tied. This series has proven to be one of the best ideas so far and these groups of individuals have proven to be the right selections to represent their respective countries regardless how some people think. So sit back and watch as AGL's best clash again tonight!
