Just when you think AGL had hit its peak of the season, the teams just absolutely shake things up! I mentioned in my last article that some teams would be trading big time players to teams to potentially get a big time return of players for a playoff push. Some teams did just that... But some teams did not. We've had Lyme and Cobra give great feedback on the trades and they made great points on them. It's my turn to give some grades on these trades and also, go over how all AGL teams are doing this season. Be prepared for some highlights too, as we have a lot from these past few weeks. Let's get to it!

B+
Before everyone gets their panties in a wad, allow me to explain myself in this. We all know Yamesyahn is a great winger. He has played 19 games and has accumulated 62 points (37 goals, 25 assists). Sullywoo4 is a quality defender as well. And we all know quality defenders are essential in a playoff run. BiggsRippit is an underrated goalie who I think was essential for the Blue Demons here.
Whitetees41 is a top 5 talent in the league, so of course the 3rd Period Excellence won this trade, but I won't let people tell me it is as one sided as people voiced it as. Wait until the end of the season before we make a final conclusion.

A-
The Silverbacks won this trade in my opinion because of their roster and while also getting NxtiveKxrlson. xYoshi97 is a top goal scorer in the league right now and Bigpapapumpkin to me is a candidate for the Norris right now. Also, adding Bigleaguemachew just makes the defense so much better. I expect the Silverbacks to start winning the games that go to overtime moving forward with their roster.
Bufford made some big moves and he trusts his crew enough that getting rid of 2 players who may be top 5 at their positions go. Getting Reapz2313 and Weezer was good for the Vipers. They got defensive depth now and a solid replacement in Reapz.

Mighty Lobsters:
29-9-2
The Lobsters have been making a great leap into the power rankings over these past few weeks. The team is being led by one of the best goalie tandems in Hangerhog19 and Dandyman26 who are posting a respectable 3.45 GAA and a .783 save percentage. Spiderx8xMonkey (41 goals, 30 assists),Tragic-Vs5 (25 goals, 49 assists), Driftit240 (31 goals, 34 assists), and ReileyDaniels (34 goals, 27 assists) have proved that they are a force to be reckoned with. Their defensemen core is just as impressive led by DarkPhoenixJosh, PoOkY_Qc_87, Zxcvbnmlkjhgfdsa, and Don_Elway. Trading for ItzChartz is going to only going to make their offense even better! I have said in the past that this team is a product of playing in a weaker division... I admit that I was wrong. I had some time to watch a few of their games and I must say... this team's first line I feel like can compete with the best of them in this league. These Lobsters are definitely MIGHTY and need to be watched come playoff time!

Fighting Amish:
19-13-8
The Fighting Amish are fighting man. They really are. Their defense led by Twinetickler301 and getsummadeeez have been doing the best they can. HeisenburgYO and olslapdaddy have put up a great GAA of 3.28 and Save Percentage of .781%. The offense is still where this team is struggling. They are putting up a good fight with most of the teams, but their biggest struggle is their offensive consistency. The talent is their and I don't think they need anymore moves. It comes down to their team if they want to be the Fighting Amish and fight, or just be amish (who are people that have never seen a championship ring). It's time to figure it out gents!

Spartans:
14-23-3
I only watched about 2-3 games of the Spartans and one thing stood out to me. They have solid scorers in NowYoDead (14 goals, 24 assists) and OneKIngdovvn (24 goals, 13 assists), but they need help on offense and defense. Let me explain. I won't forget about Clark_Kent1619 and BarDownBarzal_13. But their offense needs a for sure fire playmaker. Someone who can set these guys up to score. It's almost like the guys playstyles don't mesh well sometimes. The other thing is their defense. When you allow the 6th most goals in the league, but your tendys are putting up good numbers... finger is pointing at the defense. Questions on the team. Are you guys ready to answer the call, or will the Spartans buckle under the pressure.

Mutant Sharks:
13-21-6
The Mutant Sharks made some moves to try and push for the playoffs. Yes. Trading Dirtydangler and Mchew89 sucks, but they did get KidMon3y, who is a very solid winger. Gasden-2a has only played 9 games so far, so it remains to be seen if he was worth the move. The team is tied for 6th in most goals allowed... and they are coming off a 6 game losing streak.. they've got some work to do on their defense. But MazeltovMalkin has made some trades to bolster their defense, while keeping a respectable offense intact. Time the team to work their magic and get things clicking, or it is going to be long rest of the season!

Netstix & Chill
13-23-4
This team I have had high hopes for. Billzmafia17to14 and Prison_Mike_95 need to get things clicking quick if they want to get in the playoffs or they will be watching it in Lyme's stream with everyone else. When you have the 5th worst scoring offense and allow the 4th most goals in the league, it is never a recipe for success.

Kings of the North:
6-30-4
The team just hasn't had a great season. Playing in one of the weaker divisions I feel like they had a better chance than most in the league on sneaking in the playoffs. Sending their better players to other teams, they have gotten players who may have a chance to shine. You never know what could happen. Right now though, they have not been the Kings of the North so far.

Flying Dutchmen:
28-10-2
Arguably one of the more complete teams in the AGL. Davy Jones would be so proud! And the team ended up doing some good trades in getting Ayytrain and Kyletown are great acquisitions. Already having the 3rd top scoring offense, these moves only help their team. The team has this record while playing in the toughest division in AGL speaks volume on how dominant they have been. Watch for this team to make a deep run in the playoffs. Hell... they may just win it all at the rate they are going.

Vipers:
24-14-2
The Vipers have a new look with these recent trades. Bufford is looking for players that can push his team over that next tier. They are sitting at a good spot at this point in the season with 24 wins. Trading BigPapaPumpkin, BigLeagueMachew, and one of the leagues top scorers in xYoshi97 hurts the team, but he also traded Heedlessjem48 and Pc3poseidon for Xpsycho83 and stud goalie in NFLDSOLDIER. Bufford is someone who I think knows what they are doing and I expect him to have his team in order in time for the playoffs. If it he fails to make it far, we can all look at these trade deadline deals as the turning point for the Vipers. For better, or for worse.

Bayou Bandits:
22-15-3
What's better than having one of the top goalies on your team? Nothing really. l3Knott all season is proving why he should be regarded as the top goalie in the league. Posting a 2.67 GAA and an outstanding .840 Save Percentage, the case for it is pretty clear. The team does have some kinks to work out though. Bobbys_rash (28 goals, 33 assists) is leading the way for his team in points and goals and the defense is playing better as of late. Playing in the South Division is hurting them, as it's a very tough division. These guys have what it takes to make it deep this season, but they will have to make adjustments to become defensively consistent if they want to compete against top teams in a 7 game series.

Ice Hawks:
22-17-1
The team has been solid over these past few weeks. Yes, they have fallen in the standings a bit, but Agger has made some moves to get this team to hopefully, get over the hump. Adding xxpigeonnine0xx (39 goals, 22 assists), deacondish21 (11 goals, 29 assists), and Yamesyahn (37 goals, 25 assists) has absolutely put this teams offense towards the top of the league. The duo of xxpigeonnine0xx and xBxlchy will for sure put up good numbers and highlight reel plays. Give these guys a few games and they may just prove that they were the steals of the season! With solid goaltending, a juggernaut offense now, it comes down to if the defense can answer the call. Remember fellas... Defense wins championships.

Trash Pandas:
19-18-3
The Trash Pandas all season have been right there in the middle of the pack. Defensively they have been solid, offensively above average, and the goaltending has been decent. They are right where they should be. Having the 1st overall pick, TheMarker_1 (32 goals, 35 assists) has been great, but I am sure he wouldn't mind someone else stepping up and taking some of the pressure off of him and score a little bit. The next top goal scorer is RDLacsy78 with 21 goals and 21 assists. They may a couple of trades and it seems they may try the approach of stellar defense and solid offense to try and win games. Trading Nfldsoldier1 for Pc3poseidon is going to be a make or break trade for them as they trade a proven tendy for a backup. I know where I stand in the league and I am not on that level, but I will do my best to stay on the team.

Pine Riders:
18-18-4
This is a tough one for me. Some of the moves were questionable, but I don't know the whole story. Tough to judge this as they have solid talent, literally all across the roster. Jtenzz617, LasikDrew, Autcraig5, billistics, eXecuti0n80, xTheKraZe96x, DJU4040, and Dcliff are a solid core of players. It's not too late to turn it around, but these guys need to figure out how to play together at their full potential.

Night Owls:
33-6-1
WHO! WHO! WHO! Who is going to challenge these guys this season?! I mean let's look at this real quick. They have the best scoring offense and have allowed the least amount of goals for the season! Leccesse23 is tied for first in the league in points with 103 (48 goals, 55 assists), Colonelforbinn 81 points (35 goals, 46 assists), BadMCFrosty 76 points (20 goals, 56 assists) JuanIndastink420 54 points (33 goals, 21 assists), Jam-16-mac 49 points (22 goals, 27 assists), Mrplayoffs18 46 points (22 goals, 24 assists), and a very strong candidate for the Norris, rich2k8 39 points (10 goals, 29 points). Don't worry. I didn't forget about the undrafted free agent pick up of the year in Pirates44 and another stud goalie in TRILOGYTREEBC combining for an outstanding 2.33 GAA and .838 Save Percentage. This team has the answer at every position and the rest of AGL just can't figure them out.

3rd Period Excellence:
27-10-3
Did this team really pull off a trade o get a top 5 player in the league?! Yes they did. As if they needed it. This team adding Whitetees41 88 points (50 goals, 38 assists) with LeCupidon 102 points (50 goals, 50 assists) may of catapulted this team into the team to elite status. Yes. This is my pick to win it all, but I am also a realist as well. They have a stud in MirrorParty and a great defensemen pair in One4rose2004 and Nobez_08. Did they get enough depth defensively? Can ScoobyLux_AJ answer the call when his number is called for the big time game? I think so, but I have been wrong before. Prove me wrong again gents. I DARE YOU!

Silverbacks:
19-11-10
I had people bash me in my dms for being high on the Silverbacks in my last article and I expect it again because I think this team could just as easily sneak into the finals. Cabrelix may be the GM of the year with the moves he has made. In the past couple of weeks they got NxtiveKxrlssxn 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists), xYoshi97 71 points ( 47 goals, 24 assists), BigPapaPumpkin (who, in my opinion, is a candidate for the Norris), and Bigleaguemachew. Cabrelix added these players to a roster that already features him, Fluri37 103 points (44 goals, 59 assists) and Curtisx18x 82 points (34 goals, 48 assists). That's King Kong energy! I don't think their is a team more motivated than this team. With 10 overtime losses, they just needed those one or two players to change the game for them, and they got just that, plus a little extra. Watch out for the Silverbacks!

Gooney Tunes:
22-14-4
The Gooney Tunes have one of the better goalies in o Grayzer o and arguably one of the deeper rosters in the league. The one thing they are lacking is that go-to scorer in big time games. They made trades to get Madhatterjoker, Marchyvgk, and Dailyspitz. This team has proved they can hang with the best teams and I do not doubt that they can continue to make a big splash this season and the playoffs.

Blue Demons:
20-15-5
Dan_da_Rocketman did participate in the biggest trade of the season. I do believe he got a good haul of players. BiggsRippit is a great goalie who helps solidify between the pipes. I wish they could've kept YamesYahn, but they shifted their focus to depth in forwards and retooling their defense. They may try playing the defensive approach and lean on Accer27 to lead their offense. Let's see if they can turn it around. It's not too late fellas!

Puck Hogs:
14-23-3
It has been a tough go for the Hogs this season. But, they are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. Harvbar told me he was going to make some moves and he did! And, it is proving to be the right moves so far. 6 of those games were 1 goal differential games, but they are doing the right things. Keep an eye on this team everyone. It's not pretty hockey. It's dirty, grimy, Puck Hogs hockey though.

Hooligans:
8-30-2
This teams playoff hopes are most likely done for the season and I can't help, but look at the goaltending, the defense, and the offense. Other than ThatboyKeene, their hasn't been much to cheer for. Time to look at players who may have not gotten a chance to play and see if you can't find some sleeper players for next season. Try and compete as hard as you can and keep your heads up gents.

Money Shot:
25-14-1
This team has put it all together at the right time. X-Kessel81-X, rtc_king, Korrowan, Tekk112, Avenged7Fred, and Zomboy191 have proven to be a great squad of forwards. Defensively, they are solid. Not great, but respectably solid. Their goaltending has been the same story as well. I am interested to see how many times RoddyWrists47 can bail out his defense and if it will have to continue in the playoffs. Time to clean things up and start looking on how to improve for the playoffs. Or will they stick to the formula that has worked for them so far?

Mighty Ducks:
24-13-3
Quackstacker85 is making a case to be considered the best goalie in the league. When his number is called for big time games, he answers. Posting a 2.35 GAA and a crazy .842 save percentage proves that. CJx-19 leads the team in points with 86 (34 goals, 52 assists) and is the true leader here. The defense has allowed the 2nd least amount of goals this season and I can say, they are one of the toughest teams to even get in the offensive zone on. They had a mediocre week last week so watch for them to bounce back.

No Dekes:
23-15-2
Trading for dirtydangler82 was a great move. Pairing him with Krazy-8 and Spelliscy_21 will be a great first line to compete against. Offensively, they also have Mchew89 and Sliyumshady, who provide security at the 2nd line. Defensively, they are a better team than stats show. Especially in Kbatch0914. A lot of the things he does great defensively, does not show on the box score, but he is making a case as well to be a candidate for the Norris. Another reason for their success defensively is they stellar goaltending by EagleEEE141 and Dedstarks. They are putting up 2.93 GAA and a .797 Save Percentage. This is another sneaky team that can make a big splash in the playoffs.

Whalers:
21-16-3
This is such a tough team to judge for me. They made a trade to boost their offense getting JPEPPER76 and M-L-N83. Both are players that haven't played a lot of games so far, but expect them to see more playing time. Getting Kratos2429 to help their defense in that trade was a good pick up too. Their defense is right in the middle all across the board and the goaltending has been solid too. It comes down to if the offense can get things going consistently. Can the Whalers do it?

Brew Tang:
17-17-6
The Brew Tangs record may look below average, but these past few trades they have made ,have them putting up a great 7-2-1 record in the last 10 games. Their offense is clicking at the right time, but I saw why their defense has allowed the 5th most goals in the league. They are lacking defensive consistency in their 2nd unit. BRL0907 has played 1 more game than High_Voltage34 and has 74 more shots. The team is just allowing too many shots on net on their goalies, which has caused both of them to have losing records. Let's see if B1G_W16 can make the adjustments needed to make this team compete consistently moving forward.

Were at the point in the season where we have a pretty good idea on the playoff teams. But, the late pushes and the late season struggles make the season even more exciting. I am looking forward to it and will be ready to cover it as much as I can. Let's all remember to give big thanks to Lyme for his efforts in covering our games, the media team for putting together power rankings and players of the week, our refs for keeping things in order, and a huge thanks to Bobby, Slot, Webhead, and Rangersfan for getting this league where its at and keeping it going. Buy some AGL merch if you want some, tune in and subscribe to Lyme when he covers our games, and most importantly, have a good time chel'n. Until next time everyone, peace out.
