Panic or Relax?

Whats up AGL?! The first week is in for the SS25 and boy do we have some surprises and a few "I told you so's , but we will see if these are just some lucky games or if the preseason rankings are as wrong as they have been in the past.

Game1:

This is going to be a very interesting one here. The first trade of the season and it will feature the new addition of the Panthers tonight in IrishOddity. The Panthers had a slower start than I would of thought, but I expect them to turn things arond this week and it starts game 1! The Violent Gentlemen have star power, but this particular line up against the Panther's lineup, I like the Panthers odds.

Game 2:

So this matchup is going to be one of the ones I think is going to be a bit lopsided unfortunately. I will say, that Darkside can make some really good saves that change the game, but with the lineup that the Icers have, I don't see that happening. RdLacsy is the better goalie, the Icers have the better d core, and the better forwards. I expect at least 6-7 goals from the Icers this game.

Game 3:

I like the lineup on both teams. Its kinda scary to find out who the ECU will be, but I trust BigPapaPumpkin enough to keep the ECU in check. Chef and Kbleau are solid goalies and I think as long as the keep battz from posting in front of the net, they will be fine. Battz is one one of the best about getting tips and dirty goals. If Jeeves plays how he ususally does, I got the Wolfpack winning this one.

Game 4:

Legends (6-1) VS Army of Six (7-1)

As Lyme said earlier to me when he saw these lineups. "Holy sweat fest!" Both teams putting out some of their best players and multiple players being top 5 at their respective positions! This will be the game of the night and I will be tuning into it for sure. I personally think Ive got to give the nod to the Legends here. Its going to be close but I like the duo of Carm/Suspects better and Mahomie/Pavelbure more as well. The only way I see the AO6 win this one is if Willy plays out of his mind like he has before. One of the goalies that can steal a game against a top squad.
